VOLUNTEER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Volunteer Internships

We accept a handful of volunteer interns per season who are ready to commit to at least three months of learning-by-doing at Wild Willow Farm and are ready to grow into budding new farmers and/or good food community advocates. This is an immersive program that provides free attendance to Wild Willow classes during the internship, mentorship with our farmers, and the opportunity to train as a tour guide and trip leader. You must apply at least 6 weeks prior to the first day of the internship session to be considered (Monday, April 6th is the application deadline for the summer 2020 session).

Dates

For the safety of our staff and customers, the farm is currently closed to the public, and all educational programming--including internships--is currently on hold until further notice. Check back here, or on our Facebook page, for updates on when we'll be able to resume.

Program Requirements
  • 2 to 3 days per week (min. 10 hrs/week Monday - Friday) including mandatory orientation Monday mornings for the first 4 weeks

  • Timely arrival and excellent communication skills

  • Willingness to work hard and contribute to the team

  • Drive to learn about growing food and being an ecological steward
