#GivingTuesday

Today marks #GivingTuesday. We are participating in this nationwide day of giving and generosity with the hopes of raising funds to support Wild Willow Farm’s community and education programs.

At Wild Willow Farm, we offer workshops and courses on many farming and self-sufficiency topics; volunteering opportunities twice a week; farm fresh produce through our community supported agriculture (CSA) program; field trips and tours; and we host social events when possible. Our Farm to Families program is a 12 week program of cooking and gardening workshops for low income families in the South Bay in which participants also receive a bi-weekly CSA bag and a garden build at their home. We also offer a venue to the community for safely hosting events in our tranquil farm setting. Check out our new video to learn more about what we do! Huge gratitude to VisualConcepts.tv for producing this video.

2020 has been one crazy year – so many people have been impacted by COVID-19 and its ripple effects. Despite the chaos, the pandemic has given us a renewed appreciation of health and our community. Now more than ever, we feel the importance of our fulfilling our mission to nurture self-empowerment and inspire people connect with food, land, and each other. We are here to provide you with fresh, healthy food as well as the skills to do this for yourself! We are here to share the joy of spending time in nature with your hands in the soil and to savor the changes each season brings. To provide a place for people to safely come together to learn and work the land.

If you are able, we would appreciate your support in helping us to continue to be a resource for the community and a place for people to come together. We appreciate any and all contributions.

Some ways you can support the Farm include:

- Attend a workshop or our 8 week course, Farm School

- Volunteer with us!

- Help spread the word: share our posts on your social media outlets or tell a friend!

We are grateful to each and every person who interacts with the Farm. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your community!
